chunky-woven-cotton-rope-storage-basket-soft-sided
Chunky Woven Cotton Rope Storage Basket, Soft-Sided

Ships from our overseas partner. Every order ships with tracking; most arrive within 10–18 business days of purchase.

A chunky cotton rope storage basket is the easy answer for the things that drift around a room: chargers, remotes, rolled hand towels, the paperback from the arm of the chair. This one is woven from thick, soft rope, so it sits low and quiet on a shelf and makes no noise when something is dropped in.

At a glance

Thick cotton rope in a chunky woven pattern

Small: 8.3 in W × 5.5 in D × 5.1 in H, no handles

Large: 13.4 in W × 11 in D × 5.9 in H, two rope loop handles

Sold singly, as a set of 2 (one of each size), or in grey as a set of 3 (two small, one large)

Ivory or grey

Soft-sided with an open top

Design notes

The weave is oversized on purpose. Each rope is thick enough to read as texture from across the room, which keeps a basket like this from looking like clutter control. The large size has a rope loop at each short end for lifting; the small size is a plain, handle-free catchall. Ivory reads warm next to oak and linen, and grey sits well beside charcoal and white. Pair one with a throw from our throws and baskets for a reading corner that stays tidy.

Size & fit

The small basket (8.3 × 5.5 in, 5.1 in tall) fits on a nightstand or a bathroom shelf and holds remotes, cosmetics or chargers. The large basket (13.4 × 11 in, 5.9 in tall) takes folded hand towels, a stack of magazines or a rolled throw. Both are low, so they slide onto open shelving without hiding what sits behind them. The set of 3 is offered in grey only.

Materials & care

Woven from thick cotton rope, with soft sides that flex rather than crack.
