Vertical fluting runs the full height of the drum, and an 18-inch round top with rounded edges gives a lamp, a book and a cup room to share.

At a glance

18 in round top with rounded edges

Fluted 12 in drum pedestal

Engineered wood in a natural or black wood-grain finish

Internal X-shaped support for stability

Anti-slip foot pads; adhesive covers hide the screw heads

Top holds up to 88 lb

18 in diameter × 22.5 in H; 18 lb

Design notes

Fluting is an old way of making a solid shape feel lighter: the grooves break the column into thin lines of light and shadow, and the pattern shifts when a lamp beside it is switched on. The natural tone is pale enough for oak floors and linen upholstery; the black wood-grain finish reads as one dark column beside a cream sofa or a pale bed. More shapes are in our side tables collection.

Size & fit

At 22.5 inches tall, the top sits just below the arm height of most sofas and lounge chairs and close to the height of a standard mattress, so it works as a side table or a small nightstand. The pedestal is 12 inches across, which leaves the 18-inch top free to overhang and keeps knees and feet clear.

Materials & care

The table is engineered wood with a wood-look surface. Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and dry it; avoid harsh cleaners and standing water. Some assembly is required.
