Over a dresser or a vanity it holds a full circle of reflected room, and the slim rim gives the shape a clean edge against pale walls.

At a glance

Round, 36 in across (black or gold) or 30 in across (gold); 1.1 in deep

Slim aluminum alloy frame in brushed black or brushed gold

4 mm mirror glass on an MDF backing

Safety film on the back of the glass

Mounting bracket on the back; hooks and screws included

Weighs 14 lb (36 in) or 11 lb (30 in)

Design notes

A circle is the easiest shape to live with. It sits well over furniture with straight edges and does not argue with a paneled wall, a fluted vanity or a row of framed prints. The black rim matches matte black taps and iron hardware; the gold rim picks up brass lamps and warm wood. At 36 in the mirror becomes the main piece on the wall, so keep lamps and objects low beneath it. The 30 in gold mirror, at 11 lb, fits a single vanity or a narrower wall. Leave 6 to 10 in between its lower edge and the furniture below so the circle reads clearly.

Materials & care

The frame is aluminum alloy with a brushed black or brushed gold finish, holding 4 mm mirror glass over an MDF backing board. A safety film on the back is meant to hold the glass together if it is ever broken. Wipe the frame with a dry cloth, and spray glass cleaner onto the cloth, not onto the mirror, so nothing seeps behind the frame.

Good to know

Is it heavy to hang? The 36 in mirror weighs 14 lb and the 30 in mirror 11 lb.
