The base is cast resin electroplated in gold (with a ceramic base style also offered), under a black fabric drum shade with gold lining. Dust the base with a soft, dry cloth — no abrasives on the plated finish — and freshen the shade with a lint roller.
What's the difference between the two styles? Type A is a ceramic base and Type B is the resin version — same sculptural direction, different material. What bulb does it take?
