Late in the evening, with the overhead lights off, this amber glass mushroom table lamp turns a nightstand or a bookshelf into a small pool of honey-colored light. The dome is wide and low, the base is a short black column, and the bulb sits in plain view inside the tinted glass.

The shape is simple: a rounded glass cap resting on a solid column. Tinted glass softens the light without hiding its source, so the lamp reads as a warm glow rather than a bright point. The black base gives the piece weight and keeps the silhouette grounded. It sits comfortably beside the rest of our table lamps, especially next to dark wood, stone or washed linen.

The shade is amber-tinted glass and the base is a black column with white veining. Dust the dome with a dry microfiber cloth. For fingerprints, switch the lamp off, unplug it, wipe with a lightly damp cloth and dry. Lift the lamp by the base, never by the glass.
