Part sculpture, part light, this ring table lamp balances a gold-tone hoop on a small block of white marble. Inside the hoop, a white acrylic face glows around a gold-tone center disc, so the light spills outward like an eclipse.
At a glance
The disc stands upright and is shallow, so from the side the lamp almost disappears and from the front it reads as a framed circle of light. Marble gives the base weight and a cool contrast to the warm metal. It works on a console, a sideboard or a bedroom dresser; explore more in our table lamps.
At 16.5 inches tall and 11.8 inches across the ring, it needs about a foot of clear width on a console or dresser. The ring faces forward, so place it where it can be seen straight on, against a wall or a mirror, rather than in the middle of a room.
The ring is iron with an electroplated gold-tone finish, the diffuser is acrylic, and the base is marble, a natural stone whose veining varies from piece to piece. Dust with a soft, dry cloth and keep acidic cleaners away from the marble.
Does it use a bulb? No. The light is a built-in 10 W LED, so there is nothing to change.
