The weave is oversized on purpose. Each rope is thick enough to read as texture from across the room, which keeps a basket like this from looking like clutter control. The large size has a rope loop at each short end for lifting; the small size is a plain, handle-free catchall. Ivory reads warm next to oak and linen, and grey sits well beside charcoal and white. The small basket (8.3 × 5.5 in, 5.1 in tall) fits on a nightstand or a bathroom shelf and holds remotes, cosmetics or chargers. The large basket (13.4 × 11 in, 5.9 in tall) takes folded hand towels, a stack of magazines or a rolled throw. Both are low, so they slide onto open shelving without hiding what sits behind them.
