At a glance
Each bowl is shaded a step darker than the one around it, so the stack reads like a flower opening from a deep center. The rims rise and dip in petal curves, and the matte surface keeps the color soft rather than glossy, which suits a lamp-lit side table. Every set starts with the small bowl (3.1 in across, 3.4 in tall), then the medium (4.1 in across) and the large (4.9 in across). The set of 4 adds an extra-large bowl 6.2 in across, and the set of 5 adds a 6.9 in bowl on the outside. Each bowl is between 3.1 and 3.4 in tall, so they stay shallow and easy to reach into.
Ceramic with a matte finish. The supplier lists the bowls for jewelry, small things and display and does not state that they are food-safe, so we sell them as decorative bowls. Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry before nesting; skip abrasive pads, which can polish the matte surface.
