Remotes, chargers, letters, a skein of yarn: every room collects small things, and this woven storage basket gives them one place to land. It is a rectangle of braided straw with a wooden dowel set into each end, so it lifts off a shelf as easily as it slides back.
At a glance
The braid runs in a herringbone line around all four sides, and the straw keeps its natural, uneven tone, so no two baskets read exactly alike. The darker dowel handles add a little contrast against the pale weave. It sits easily beside the soft pieces in our throws and baskets collection, and the three sizes nest inside one another when you want more than one.
Small measures 10.2 x 7.1 x 5.1 in, right for a nightstand shelf or a drawer of cables. Medium is 12.6 x 8.7 x 6.3 in and suits a bookcase shelf or a pantry. Large is 14.6 x 10.2 x 6.7 in and holds a row of wine bottles upright, as pictured. Measure your shelf before choosing.
The body is woven natural straw and the handles are wood. Dust with a dry cloth or a soft brush, and keep it away from standing water and long hours of direct sun, which can dry and fade natural fibers. Line it with a cloth if you store anything that might stain.
Is this a set of three? No. Each order is one basket in the size you select. The nested photos show all three sizes together.
