At a glance
The weave is fine and even, worked in close rows that follow the curve of the bowl, and the rim is wrapped so the edge feels smooth under the hand. It sits low enough to see what is inside from standing height, which is the whole point of a fruit basket. Set it on a kitchen island, a dining table or a console by the door. In the evening the honey tone deepens under warm lamplight to something close to amber. More woven pieces live in our throws and baskets.
The small basket is 9.1 in across and suits a few pieces of citrus, a coffee table catchall or a bathroom shelf. The large is 11.8 in across and holds a pineapple with room for grapes, as in the photos. Both stand 4.3 in tall. The two sizes nest, which makes them easy to store or to stack as a pair on a sideboard.
Woven from natural plant fiber with a wrapped rim. Wipe it with a dry or barely damp cloth, keep it out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and line it with a napkin for anything that drips or stains.
Is fruit included? No. The photos show the basket styled with fruit and a linen cloth; only the basket ships.
Can it go in the dishwasher? No. Wipe it clean and let it air dry.
