At a glance
The cover is pieced from three strips. Plain sage chenille frames the top and bottom, and the center is a lighter woven panel with ferns, sprigs and fan-shaped leaves picked out in the same green. The effect is quiet and botanical rather than floral, so it sits easily with oatmeal linen, warm wood and brass. A square and a lumbar together make a tidy pair on a reading chair. The square cover is 17.7 x 17.7 in (45 x 45 cm) and suits an 18 x 18 in insert. The lumbar is 11.8 x 19.7 in (30 x 50 cm) and suits a 12 x 20 in insert. Choose Cover Only if you already have inserts, or Cover with Insert to receive the cover with a fiber-filled insert inside.
The bands are soft chenille and the center panel is woven with the fern pattern; the strips are joined with stitched seams. The insert option is filled with PP cotton fiber. Spot clean where you can. If it needs a wash, take out the insert, turn the cover inside out, wash cold on a gentle cycle and air dry; chenille keeps its softness best away from high heat.
Is the insert included? Only with the Cover with Insert option. Cover Only ships the cover by itself.
Is the green bright? No. It is a soft, grey-leaning sage, close to dried herbs, and the center panel is paler still.
