Design notes

The check is woven into the chenille as two heights of pile in a single color, so it reads as texture rather than a printed pattern. From across the room the cover looks solid; up close the grid appears. That makes it easy to mix with plain pillows and with stripes. The earth tones, chocolate, rust, mustard and olive, suit wood and leather. Ivory and light grey stay calm on a white sofa. Charcoal and blue give a cooler, sharper note. Size & fit

Choose a lumbar at 11.8 x 19.7 in (30 x 50 cm) or a square at 15.7, 17.7, 19.7 or 23.6 in (40, 45, 50 or 60 cm). Use an insert the same size as the cover, or one size up for a fuller shape. Inserts are not included.

Materials & care

The cover is chenille with a raised woven check. Spot clean, or wash cold on a gentle cycle inside a laundry bag and air dry. Smooth the pile with your hand afterward to lift it.

Is the check printed? No. It is woven into the pile in the same color, so the pattern is a texture you can feel.
