Design notes

Bouclé texture works because it breaks up light. Each small loop holds its own shadow, so even the white has depth and the darker shades look rich rather than flat. The neutrals, white, oatmeal, taupe and camel, layer easily on a cream or linen sofa. Smoke, moss green, burgundy and rust are deeper and suit an evening room with warm lamps, where they read almost like velvet. Mix one deep shade with two neutrals for a balanced row. Size & fit

The square covers are 17.7 x 17.7 in (45 x 45 cm) and 19.7 x 19.7 in (50 x 50 cm); the lumbar is 11.8 x 19.7 in (30 x 50 cm). Choose an insert the same size as the cover, or one size up for full, crisp corners. Inserts are not included.

Materials & care

The cover is a thick chenille with a looped surface. Loops can snag, so keep it away from pet claws and rough fastenings. Spot clean small marks, or wash cold on a gentle cycle inside a laundry bag and air dry.
