Rattan cane, a pale oak-tone finish and small brass-tone knobs give this cane-front 3-drawer nightstand its warmth. Each drawer front has a long oval window of woven cane, and the top carries a power strip so a phone, a lamp and a tablet can all charge at the bedside.

The cane panels are cut as long rounded ovals, so the open weave shows a little shadow from the drawer behind it and the front gains depth. At 15.75 inches wide and 13.78 inches deep, it fits a narrow gap beside a bed or in a guest room. The top sits at 23.82 inches, an easy reach from most standard beds. Inside, the drawers measure about 12.6 inches wide, 11.22 inches deep and 4.13 inches high, room for glasses, chargers, a journal and a paperback. The power cord is 4.9 feet long.
The body is MDF and particleboard in a natural oak-tone finish, with rattan cane on the drawer fronts and solid pine legs. Wipe the top with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it. Dust the cane with a soft brush, and keep it away from standing water and direct heat so the weave stays taut.
What can the power strip run? It has two standard outlets and two USB ports, enough for a lamp, a phone and a tablet at once.
