Set on a dining table after dark, this pedestal hurricane candle holder lifts a single pillar above the plates and wraps it in a clear sleeve, so the flame holds steady while the conversation carries on. The stand is metal in a champagne-gold plated finish, and it comes in three heights that group well together.
At a glance
The shape is a familiar one, done cleanly: a slim stem, a small polished knot under the candle cup and a stepped round foot that catches the light. The sleeve rests on a flat disc just below the cup, so the glow reads evenly from every side of the table. Order two or three heights and stagger them down a table or across a mantel; the group in our photos uses all three. More holders live in our candle holders collection.
Every height shares the same 4.7 in base and 3.9 in sleeve; only the stem changes. The 11.4 in holder suits a coffee table or nightstand where a low glow is welcome, and the 15.4 in holder stands clear of a centerpiece on a dining table. Choose a pillar no wider than 3.1 in so it sits inside the cup with room to spare.
The stand is stainless steel and alloy with an electroplated champagne-gold finish; the sleeve is clear acrylic. Wipe the metal with a soft, dry cloth and skip abrasive pads, which can dull the plating. Clean the sleeve with a damp microfiber cloth and a drop of mild soap.
Is a candle included? No. Each holder ships on its own, without a candle.
Can I burn a real candle in it? Because the sleeve is acrylic, we recommend a flameless LED pillar, which gives the same glow without heat against the sleeve. If you do use a flame, keep the wick trimmed and never leave it unattended.
