Light spills through rows of small square cutouts when a pillar candle burns inside this ceramic lantern candle holder, scattering a loose grid of warm squares across the table and the wall behind it. The body is speckled white ceramic on a brown foot, and it comes in two sizes.
At a glance
The cutouts are slightly irregular, set in loose rows so the lantern reads as relaxed rather than machined. The speckle in the glaze and the earthy foot keep it warm in daylight; after dark the pattern does the work. Pair both sizes on a mantel or console for a staggered glow, as in the patio photo. The Small stands 7.2 in tall and 6.3 in wide, a good height for a coffee table or a bathroom shelf. The Large is the taller, slimmer cylinder shown on the left in our photos; it suits a mantel, a console or the floor beside a chair. Both open at the top, so the candle drops straight in.
The lantern is ceramic with a speckled white finish and a brown speckled foot. Let it cool fully after use before moving it. Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and dry it; avoid soaking it or putting it in a dishwasher. Trim the wick before each burn to keep soot off the inside walls.
Is a candle included? No. The lantern ships empty, ready for a pillar candle or a flameless LED pillar.
