Design notes

An ogee is the curved, onion-dome outline found in old tile and ironwork. Raised in plush, it becomes a soft relief that throws small shadows when a lamp sits beside the sofa, so a single-color pillow still has depth. Beige stays in warm creams. Grey has a cool, slightly blue cast in daylight. Stack the lumbar in front of a square on a bed, or use a pair of squares on a reading chair. See the rest of our throw pillow collection.

Size & fit

Squares come in 17.7, 19.7 and 21.7 in (45, 50 and 55 cm); choose an insert about the same size, or one size up for a fuller look. The lumbar is 11.8 x 19.7 in (30 x 50 cm) and comes in beige only. The photos show pairs for styling; each order is one cover.

Materials & care

The face is a soft plush pile tufted over a flat woven ground. Shake the cover out and smooth the pile with your hand to lift it. Spot clean where possible, or wash cold on a gentle cycle inside a laundry bag and air dry, since high heat can flatten plush.

Good to know

Is the insert included? No. Each order is one cover; the insert is not included.

Does the grey look blue? In daylight it reads as a cool grey with a hint of blue. Under warm lamps in the evening it settles toward a soft grey.
