Once the pillar candle is lit, the wavy iron rods of this black candle holder break its glow into tall stripes of light and shadow on the wall behind. Unlit, it is a quiet column of dark lines that reads well on a mantel or a dining table.
At a glance
The rods rise to slightly different lengths, so the top edge is ragged rather than ruled, like reeds at the edge of water. Small stands 7.9 in tall, medium 9.8 in and large 11.8 in, each 3.9 in in diameter. Choose a pillar candle narrow enough to sit on the base with a little room around it. A flameless LED pillar of the same width works just as well and gives the same striped glow.
The holder is iron with a black finish. Wipe it with a dry cloth, since water can mark the finish. The rods grow warm while a candle burns, so let it cool before moving it, keep it away from curtains and never leave a flame unattended.
Does it come with a candle? No. The candles shown are for styling; each order is the iron holder only.
Are the three sizes sold together? No. Pick one size per holder, or add each size to your cart for the full trio.
