Smooth ivory satin on one side, a chevron jacquard on the other, and a thin gold stripe where the two meet: this satin patchwork pillow cover is built on contrast. Between the patterned panel and the ivory field runs a band of solid satin in the color you choose, and the back is cut from that same color.

Each cover reads in three parts from left to right: a zigzag jacquard with a soft sheen, a band of solid color, and a wide ivory field. The slim gold stripe sits between the jacquard and the band and catches lamplight at night. Teal, blue and terracotta read strongest against a pale sofa; sand, oatmeal, taupe and light blue stay quiet on cream or linen. Choose 11.8 x 19.7 in (30 × 50 cm) for a lumbar pillow, 17.7 x 17.7 in (45 × 45 cm) for a standard square, or 19.7 x 19.7 in (50 × 50 cm) for a fuller square. Each size is the cover only. An insert of the same size gives a tailored fill; one about an inch larger gives a plumper look.
The cover is satin with a jacquard chevron panel, a metallic stripe and a piped edge. Spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. For a fuller clean, turn it inside out, wash gently by hand in cool water and lay flat to dry. Keep the iron off the gold stripe.
Is the pillow insert included? No. Each order is one cover; the inserts and the other pillows in the photos are for display.
What does the back look like? The back is a solid satin panel in the band color, with the same piped edge. The small inset in each color photo shows it.
